Terms of service

These terms cover backlink work that you order from LabsMedia by email. [Legal entity, registered address and effective date to be confirmed.]

What we do

We find websites that match your brief, contact their owners, negotiate, arrange the content and check that each backlink is live. Scout, our backlink bot, does much of this work, and LabsMedia specialists review it. The websites belong to their owners, not to us.

How an order works

  1. You email us a brief: your website, the kind of sites you want backlinks from and the market you sell to.
  2. We reply with a short form to confirm the details. A LabsMedia specialist reviews every brief before any work starts, and we may decline a brief.
  3. We email you one quote for a monthly target, for example a number of backlinks that match your criteria.
  4. When you approve the quote, you authorise us to agree deals with site owners inside it. There is no separate approval for each backlink.
  5. Anything outside the approved quote, such as a site outside your criteria or a price outside its range, we ask you about first.
  6. On request, a backlink specialist shows you a site before you pay for a backlink on it.

Pay as you go

There is no subscription and no retainer. You pay for backlinks delivered under a quote you approved. Our handling fee is included in the prices we quote. [Minimum term and how to cancel an approved quote to be confirmed.]

Prices and currency

  • Quotes and invoices are in US dollars (USD).
  • Customers in India are billed in Indian rupees (INR) at the day’s Google exchange rate, plus GST. [Which day’s rate applies (quote date or invoice date) to be confirmed.]

You only pay for live backlinks

We invoice you only for backlinks that are live. Before a backlink goes on your invoice, it is checked on the live page against what was agreed: your page, your anchor and the agreed terms. If a backlink never goes live, you are not charged for it. [Payment terms and due dates to be confirmed.]

After a backlink is live

Site owners control their own websites and may change or remove content. We check each backlink once, before it is invoiced, and we don’t monitor it after that. [What happens if a backlink is removed after it is invoiced to be confirmed.]

No ranking guarantees

Search engines decide rankings, and we don’t control them. We don’t promise any ranking, position, traffic or sales from a backlink. We work to your brief: relevant sites, real authority and organic search traffic in your market, and backlinks checked live before you pay.

Your part

  • You confirm that you own or may act for the website in your brief.
  • The details you give us, including target pages and anchors, are accurate and lawful to use.
  • You tell us promptly if your targets change.

Outreach on your behalf

Outreach is sent from LabsMedia inboxes, not from your domain. [How paid placements are labeled on publishers’ sites, and who is responsible for it, to be confirmed with legal advice.]
