HyperVerge is an identity verification platform that helps onboard new customers and business partners seamlessly, authenticate existing customers and agents, and identify and stop fraudsters with KYC and business verification (KYB)—using facial recognition, OCR detection, and more.

Their Business Goals:

The primary goal was to increase revenue as per their targeted approach, therefore, we bifurcated these into two objectives:

1. Organic lead generation: The goal was to strategically boost business by attracting companies seeking robust and compliant identity verification solutions. All efforts, including content creation and campaigns, were designed with lead generation as the focus.

2. Increase USA traffic: The client wanted to expand its market presence in the US, where no active efforts were in place. The objective was to drive website traffic from the US by:

  • Tailoring content to the US audience, addressing their pain points, and providing insights into relevant regulatory requirements such as US KYC and AML standards.
  • Building targeted campaigns with geo-focused content and blog articles aligned with US market expansion goals.

After gaining a clear understanding of their business goals, we analyzed and found the following challenges and obstacles.

Challenges Identified in The Analysis

1. Challenges with organic traffic: HyperVerge needed leads, which rely on generating organic traffic. However, much of its content wasn’t ranking for important US keywords. In the competitive RegTech market, potential clients need to trust the solution can meet their security and compliance needs.

2. Lack of scalable content: A major challenge was converting traffic into leads. HyperVerge needed to create content that educated, engaged, and converted leads consistently. Producing content at scale was difficult with the limited in-house resources. This gap limited their ability to meet demand and grow thought leadership in search engines. 

Based on the audit analysis and their business goals, we discussed HyperVerge’s expectations for the SEO and content marketing requirements. 

Solutions We Provided

We established KPIs and assessed the website’s current positioning to identify areas for improvement. From this, we designed a comprehensive solution that included:

Solution one: SEO audit 

We took a close look at the website with a thorough SEO audit to identify areas that needed improvement. 

Our main goal was to find factors that were holding back site performance, such as page speed, mobile responsiveness, and internal linking structure.

One of the key things we focused on was fixing 301 redirect issues, which were significantly affecting the site's performance.

By addressing these issues, we were able to optimize the site for a better user experience, improving load times and ensuring smoother navigation across devices. This work laid the foundation for all future efforts, aligning the site with Google’s SEO best practices and creating a strong base for continued progress."

Solution two: Backlinking 

We focused on backlinking as a key part of our SEO strategy to boost the site’s domain rating. We started by identifying HyperVerge’s top lead-generating pages.

Using Ahrefs, we collected data and reached out to publishers with strong authority and high domain ratings. Within three months, we built 26 high-quality backlinks for HyperVerge. These backlinks improved the domain rating and helped the site rank higher for competitive keywords, particularly for US-specific searches in the RegTech space.

Solution three: Targeted organic activities 

To drive high-quality traffic from the U.S., we implemented a targeted SEO strategy to double organic traffic from this region. We carefully tailored our keyword selection, content, and backlinking efforts to align with the U.S. market, focusing on region-specific topics and search terms that appeal to business decision-makers.

Since the goal was geo-focused lead generation, we prioritized creating Bottom-of-the-Funnel (BoFu) content, which typically delivers higher conversion rates. We conducted thorough keyword research supported by competitor analysis and trending topics. While selecting keywords, we focused on the following factors:

  • Search Volume in the US 
  • Competition 
  • Keyword difficulty 
  • Cost per click value 

Solution four: Content creation

We created 44 blog posts, including blog pages, alternative pages, listing pages, competitor comparison pages, and pricing pages. Each piece was carefully written for the target audience after studying top-ranking pages for the chosen keywords. 

The goal was to answer industry-specific questions, address compliance challenges, and highlight use cases that potential clients were actively searching for.

We also focused on hygiene SEO activities alongside content production and backlinking. This included adding relevant interlinking within the blog, optimizing meta tags, and refining headers.
