Attendee Questions & Rakesh Patel’s Insights

Here are attendees engaging in asking relevant questions to quickly understand the concepts and how they can incorporate the given strategies into their business.

Attendee’s question: “If I’m writing educational content (TOFU), should I link it to MOFU, and then MOFU should link to BOFU so that the customer can organically move through the funnel?”

His answer: While internal linking between TOFU, MOFU, and BOFU content is beneficial, there is no strict rule that it must follow a linear path. What’s more important is that content is linked within a topic cluster so that Google and users can easily navigate related information.
Attendee’s question: “Should we create TOFU articles on our site, or post them on external platforms like Medium and LinkedIn to get traffic from there?”

His answer: He encouraged attendees to think beyond just traffic generation and consider authority building in SEO. Using an analogy, he explained that a direct connection (publishing on your own site) builds stronger authority than depending on external references. External platforms can be used strategically for content distribution, but they should not replace content hosted on your domain.

Attendee’s question: “Can a new website grow organically, and at what point does Google start penalizing it?”

His answer: Yes, a new website can absolutely grow organically, but it’s essential to understand how Google’s crawl budget and indexing behavior work. If your domain is brand new, Google limits how frequently and deeply it crawls your pages. The key is to optimize your crawl efficiency, ensuring that when Google visits, it finds structured and valuable content.

Attendee’s Question: “How does Google’s crawl budget affect new websites, and how can we optimize it?”

His answer: Google allocates a crawl budget to every website, which determines how many pages it can crawl in a given timeframe. This budget is lower for new websites, so it’s essential to make the most of it.
During this interactive workshop, attendees asked many interesting questions and discussed the concerns that prevented their websites from growing digitally. Rakesh's SEO expertise and deep understanding of the industry helped them gain valuable insights into developing and scaling their businesses.
